Thank you for your interest in the Family Medicine
Residency Program at Christiana Care Health System.
We know that students have several options in
training programs, and we hope you find our program an excellent fit for
you. We are proud of our diverse faculty, top-rated facilities,
caring staff and national reputation in curricular
innovation. However, we are most proud of the incredible caliber of
residents we have the privilege of training.
We love our work because we are passionate
about caring for patients and learning the art and science of
medicine. We love where we work because of the people we get to work

Family Medicine Department: 4 Programs in
1
Our Family Medicine Department
houses three separate residency programs and one fellowship program, creating
a diverse learning environment rich in resources
and professional collaboration. We also are proud to house the first and only allopathic combined
Emergency Medicine / Family Medicine Residency Program.
Our department sponsors an osteopathic traditional rotating internship,
and we offer a sports medicine fellowship.
