Christiana Care's Cancer Outreach Program can help you learn more about what causes cancer and the cancer risk factors that may affect you and your family.  We can also help you learn about healthy behaviors and lifestyles to reduce risk factors and even prevent some cancers. We offer a wide range of resources both to individuals and the community.

Cancer Education and Prevention
We offer a variety of educational tools and programs designed to promote awareness about cancer, cancer risk factors, prevention and early detection. We can also help you access counseling and other behavioral modification programs to help you reduce your risk  for cancer, such as help to quit smoking, nutrition and fitness.                                                 

Community Screening
We can inform you about the importance of early screening for cancer and the types of screenings available through  your doctor, community resources and  partnerships, or Cancer Outreach scheduled events.

Cancer Research             
We can direct you to the latest cancer research findings as well  as opportunities to participate in National Cancer Institute cancer prevention clinical Trials through Christiana Care's Cancer Research Office .
