Swine Flu/H1N1 and New Guidelines for Visitors

If you are living with some form of heart disease, you are probably working hard to make changes -- lifestyle, diet and nutrition, for example - that will help you live as long as you can and feel as well as you can. There are many dependable resources to help individuals with heart disease and their loved ones, which are available through Christiana Care and elsewhere in the community. These resources range from rehabilitation and education services, to support groups, to programs for those with congestive heart failure.

You and Your Medications:

  • Create a list of the medications you are taking.  This list should include all prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, herbal medications, and vitamin supplements.  Here is a sample blank list  you may print out and fill in.
  • Bring your list with you for doctor appointments, emergency room visits, and if you need to go to the hospital.
