De-Stress

Swine Flu/H1N1 and New Guidelines for Visitors

Whether it's work, family demands or all the little day-to-day chores we need to take care of, all of us have to cope with stress. Research indicates that stress can have a significant influence on our health and sense of well being, so it's important to take the time and learn some strategies to keep your stress level under control.

Mind/Body classes
These classes and programs provide the opportunity to learn a variety of techniques to reduce stress, relax and improve fitness. Learning to influence the mind/body connection can help to improve medical conditions such as chronic pain, high blood pressure or insomnia, while at the same time improving your emotional state. For example, medication may be necessary to improve high blood pressure, but research indicates that exercise and stress management techniques can also improve this condition.
