Adult Day Care
Adults of all ages can get the support and assistance they need at our Adult Day Program on Christiana Care's Riverside campus. During the day they can enjoy activities and friends which help keep life meaningful, while caregivers know their needs are being met. The program includes a nutritious daily lunch, specialized therapies and services with dependable door-to-door transportation. The Evergreen Centers provide specialized daycare for people with Alzheimer's disease or related dementias.

Respite for Caregivers
Whether it's for a few months or a few days, Christiana Care can offer caregivers time off from tending to a loved one at home. Christiana Care Visiting Nurse Association provides in-home respite care services, as well as day care for Alzheimer's patients at the Evergreen Centers in Wilmington and Milford. Respite care and hospice care for terminally ill patients are also available on our Riverside campus.

Memory Disorders
The Evergreen Centers provide specialized care for people with Alzheimer's disease or related dementias and offer respite for families and caregivers who know their loved ones are in good hands. Our therapeutic day treatment program is provided by trained professionals from the Christiana Care Visiting Nurse Association and includes a nutritionally balanced menu, assistance with personal care and grooming, and recreational and music therapy. Professional resources include registered nursing, medical social work and family counseling, nutritional counseling, in-home respite care, assistance with nursing home respite, and consulting psychiatric services from Christiana Care Health System.
