Christiana Care Residency
Programs offer a combined residency in Emergency Medicine/Internal
Medicine - an innovative option for residents who wish to
maximize their career choices. This combined program holds particular
appeal for those residents who ultimately intend to pursue an academic
practice. At the end of the five-year training, residents are qualified to
sit for both Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine boards and are
unusually well-prepared to practice or teach in a wide variety of
settings. The best these strong departments have to offer is synthesized
in a broad-based and dynamic educational package.
