With more than 1,100 beds, Christiana Care fulfills a crucial role as the regional center for excellence in heart services (including cardiac surgery and coronary angioplasty), cancer treatment, women's health services, physical medicine and rehabilitation, infectious diseases, general medicine and surgery, and the state's high-intensity trauma services.
We also have one of the few bone marrow transplant programs in the Delaware Valley. Christiana Care hospitals are recognized in independent studies for excellence in patient satisfaction.
