Adult Intensive Outpatient Program
People with acute psychiatric symptoms can find the help they need through the Adult Intensive Outpatient Program.
Located in the Center for Comprehensive Behavioral Health, the program provides comprehensive psychiatric assessment and intensive treatment in four- and six-hour sessions Monday through Friday. The length of the program is tailored to your needs.
The program may help people who:
- Are not responding to one or more trials of antidepressants.
- Are having a complex cluster of mood and anxiety symptoms with an unclear diagnosis.
- Are functioning poorly at home and at work due to mood, thought or anxiety symptoms.
Our experienced team includes physicians, licensed therapists, nurses, a social worker and others who work together to assess your mental health and provide treatments that include:
- Group psychotherapy.
- Individual therapy.
- Family meetings.
- Education groups.
Our program is covered by most commercial health plans as well as Medicaid and Medicare. To contact our adult transitional care services, call 302-428-2357.
