To help with work/life balance and provide assistance whenever life gets challenging, the Christiana Care Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a confidential resource for assistance with a wide range of concerns and needs, including stress, relationship problems, family matters, financial concerns, emotional distress and many other issues. The benefits are prepaid by Christiana Care and offered at no cost to employees. This free benefit is provided by ComPsych insurance company. Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by phone or on the web. This program provides unlimited telephone consultations with life balance consultants, three free visits with a local EAP provider, web-based tools and online information for you, your family and/or your dependents. Life balance professional staff consultants can provide one-on-one assistance for a variety of life issues including:
