Residency ProgramsPharmacy

Application Process

All applicants must forward a copy of their School of Pharmacy transcript, curriculum vitae with a cover letter, an essay indicating why they are applying for residency training and three letters of recommendation. Letters of recommendation may come from, but are not limited to, college faculty, preceptors, mentors and employers. We would also appreciate receiving your Notice of Intent to Apply to the Pharmacy Practice Residency Program via e-mail at pharmacy.residency@christianacare.org. Lastly, please complete an on-line application to the program at www.christianacarepharmacycareers.com.

All materials must be received by January 13th. Upon receipt of the above materials, candidates will be selected for an on-site interview. An invitation for an on-site interview is predicated on the strength of the candidate's academic achievement, letters of recommendation, and rationale for pursuing residency training. Following the interview process, the Pharmacy Resident Steering Committee will recommend candidates to the Director of Pharmacy to fill the four PGY-1 and one PGY-2 resident positions. The Director of Pharmacy makes the final decision on candidates submitted to the ASHP Residency Matching Process.

Please forward questions, official transcripts, three letters of recommendation, essay, and your C.V. and cover letter to the program director:
