During the lunch period, you will have an opportunity to speak with representatives from Christiana Care's Benefits and Wellness departments, as well as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Chestnut Run Federal Credit Unit, Lincoln Alliance, and Blood Bank of Delmarva.

Food

Coffee, tea, juice, water, fruit and pastries will be available at 7:30 AM and throughout the morning.
Lunch is not provided. You will be informed of options for getting lunch within the hospital.
Cold drinks and snacks, including cheese and crackers, vegetables, fruit and cookies will be available at lunch time and throughout the afternoon.

From I-95, southbound:

Take Exit 4B onto Route 58 west (Churchmans Rd.).
Follow Route 58 one mile.
Turn left at the light to enter Christiana Hospital campus.

From I-95, northbound:

Take Exit 4B onto Route 7/Route 1 north.
Take Exit 166 onto Route 58 west (Churchmans Rd.).
Follow Route 58 for six-tenths of a mile.
Turn left at the light to enter Christiana Hospital campus.

From southern New Castle, Kent and Sussex counties:

Take Exit 166 off of Route 7/Route 1 north and onto Route 58 west (Churchmans Rd.).
Follow Route 58 for six-tenths of a mile.
Turn left at the light to enter Christiana Hospital campus.

From southern Chester County, Pennsylvania:

Follow Route 41 south to Route 7 south.
Follow Route 7 to right turn onto Route 4 west (Ogletown-Stanton Rd.).
Turn left on Route 58 east.
Go three-tenths of a mile and turn right onto Christiana Hospital campus.

From Cecil County, Maryland:

Take I-95 north to Exit 4B Route 7/Route 1 north.
Take Exit 166 onto Route 58 west (Churchmans Rd.).
Follow Route 58 six-tenths of a mile.
Turn left at the light to enter Christiana Hospital campus.

From Maryland's Eastern Shore:

Take Maryland Route 213 north to Route 40 east.
From Route 40 turn onto Route 7/Route 1 north.
Take Exit 166 onto Route 58 west (Churchmans Rd.).
Follow Route 58 six-tenths of a mile.
Turn left at the light to enter Christiana Hospital campus.

From New Jersey:

After crossing the Delaware Memorial Bridge, follow I-295 to I-95 south Exit 4B to Route 58 west (Churchmans Rd.).
Follow Route 58 one mile.
Turn left at the light to enter Christiana Hospital campus.

Parking

Follow signs to Lot C and New Employee Orientation parking.
There will be a security guard who will stop you at the entrance to the C parking lot - just tell him/her that you're going to New Employee Orientation.
Follow the signs from the parking lot into the building, and upstairs to the registration desk and auditorium.

What if it snows?

In the event of severe weather, listen to one of the following radio stations to find out if orientation will be canceled: WJBR (99.5 FM); WSTW (93.7 FM); WDEL (1150 AM); WILM (1450 AM); WNRK (1260 AM) or call 302-428-4590. If New Employee Orientation is canceled, contact your department manager for further instructions.

If I'm sick or have an emergency, whom do I call?

Employees should call their managers to advise if they will be absent from NEO. If employees do not yet know the phone number of their manager, then they should call 302-733-1000 and asked to be transferred to their department to speak with their manager.
