Heart Transplant Evaluation and Management

The Heart Transplant Evaluation and Management Program at Christiana Care provides expert care and testing to individuals who are candidates for a heart transplant or those who have had a heart transplant. By coordinating with local cardiologists and regional transplant centers, we provide seamless, expert local care for this complex condition.

Our program offers extensive, state-of-the-art diagnostic testing to evaluate patients and determine the best course of treatment. When a transplant is not indicated, we are able to guide individuals to best advanced treatment strategies currently available.
