The most advanced therapy available

Designed to maximize your independence, the Center for Rehabilitation offers a full range of acute rehabilitation services and features the latest in barrier-free and advanced rehabilitation technologies. The rehabilitation unit occupies an entire floor of Wilmington Hospital, allowing for the nursing and therapy staff to have continuous communication with you, your family and other caregivers. At 61,000 square feet, our therapy space is one of the largest in the region. It includes multiple areas that simulate real-world environments—including a residential apartment and a street environment—that allow you to practice everyday living skills.

We’re certified as a Stroke Specialty Program by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Stroke Specialty Programs offer the highest level of care, with a special focus on prevention, minimizing impairment, reducing activity limitations, and maximizing the participation and quality of life of persons who have sustained a stroke.
