Sarcoma, Bone Cancer and Melanoma

Sarcomas, bone cancers and melanomas are less common than some other cancers. But they can be just as aggressive. At Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute’s Sarcoma, Bone Cancer and Melanoma Multidisciplinary Center, we specialize in treating the following conditions and more:

Soft Tissue Sarcomas: We target sarcomas affecting the trunk, extremities and the back of the abdomen (retroperitoneal).
Bone Cancers: Our team tackles both primary bone cancers and those that spread from other areas (secondary bone cancers).
Melanoma: We treat melanoma regardless of origin, whether it begins in the skin, eye, or even the intestines.
Bone Marrow Cancers: While not explicitly a sarcoma, we also have expertise in treating bone marrow cancers like multiple myeloma.

Your Multidisciplinary Care Team

You’ll meet with a dedicated team of cancer experts who works closely with your primary care physician. This team includes the following:

Surgeons: Orders diagnostic tests, performs biopsies and removes cancerous tissue when necessary.
Medical Oncologists: Administers chemotherapy or immunotherapy to target cancer cells.
Radiation Oncologists: Uses precision-focused radiation therapy to destroy tumors.

These specialists collaborate with your primary care physician and care management team to develop a personalized treatment plan that prioritizes your needs and maximizes your chances of success.
